scholarship fund
Since 2006, Cambridge Neighborhood Apartment Housing Services and the 808-812 Memorial Drive Scholarship Fund have awarded over $250,000 to to college-bound students through our annual Scholarship Program.
Scholarship applicants are eligible to receive assistance for the full term of their education at a two- or four-year accredited, degree-awarding institution. Priority will be given to students entering their first year of school. Graduate students are not eligible.
Applications are due in late May with awards announced in July. The eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Must reside in a rent-assisted apartment owned by CNAHS/HRI.
- Must be attending or have received admittance to a two- or four- year accredited, degree-awarding institution of higher education.
- Demonstrated financial need.
- Demonstrated academic promise and achievement.
- Demonstrated community service and community involvement.
- An interview may be required.
Application Submission Documents:
- Completed application form (If you live at 808-812 Memorial Drive, please use the Memorial Drive Scholarship Fund application)
- Transcript of grades from high school or college
- Proof of acceptance (acceptance letter/verification of enrollment)
- Letter of recommendation from a teacher
- Copy of financial aid award letter from college
